The CPU Philippine Native Chicken initiative is set to redefine the landscape of local poultry production in Barangay Garcia, Tapaz, Capiz. Owned and managed by the dynamic duo Engr. John Gabriel and Dr. Novie Gloria Gabriel, the Gloria Native Chicken Farm represents a significant leap forward in the commercial breeding of Philippine native fowl.

Construction of the state-of-the-art facility commenced in the third week of November 2024 and is slated for completion by December 2024. This modern farm will be home to 256 breeder stocks and over 3,000 chicks, creating a robust infrastructure to support the burgeoning demand for native chicken.

The farm is ready to start full production and marketing by April to May 2024, having laid the foundation and ramped up operations. This venture promises to enhance local poultry supply and bolster the agricultural economy of the region.
