The Golden Sprout Corp.
The Golden Sprout Corporation was born from partnerships between the Philippine Native Chicken and its dedicated raisers in 2022. It was founded based on available experiences gained from the first operation of commercializing the technology packages between 2018 and 2022. During this initial period, the partnership faced challenges and had to halt its operation to assess the commercialization situation temporarily. Unfortunately, with the onset of the pandemic in 2020, many partner farms were forced to stop their operations because of the various challenges in raising and marketing.
In response to these difficulties, the Philippine Native Chicken and a group of dedicated raisers established the Golden Sprout Corporation in 2022. With a shared vision and determination, the company aims to overcome the challenges faced by the partner farms and continue the commercialization of technology packages to benefit all stakeholders.

With the increasing demand for supplemental feeds and phytomedicines, this company used to focus on these specialized inputs for the commercial production of local chicken. Aside from the native chicken feeds, Golden Sprout expanded its product lines to pet, hog, goat, cattle, carabao, and aquatic feeds.

The Central Philippine University Research Center for Philippine Native Chicken has developed a unique and innovative animal feed called CPU Feeds, further named PNC Feeds. These feeds are uniquely created, free from amino acid isolates and other synthetic growth-promoting compounds. These feed premises have been shown to have adverse effects on animal and human health, so excluding these compounds in CPU and PNC Feeds is a significant advantage.
